Popular Youtuber Kai Cenat has come out in a recent video on his youtube channel to announce his retirement from streaming.
Kai Cenat revealed that he would be abandoning streaming to pursue a career in professional basketball. He wrote in an X post, “I’m quitting streaming and becoming a professional basketball player. Goodbye.”
Kai Cenat is an American online streamer and YouTuber who specializes in comedic live streams and videos.
He currently is the fifth most-followed Twitch streamer with 13 million followers and all-time most-subscribed Twitch streamer, surpassing Ludwig Ahgren’s record.
He was also named “Streamer of the Year” at the 2023 and 2024 Streamer Awards.
Alot of his fans have different reactions to this shocking and unexpected news from him. One fan teased him saying “You tryna be the next Muggsy Bogues?”. Another fan added, “First Player to average 3 posts per game.”
A fan made a comment on his height saying, “But you short bro how will you reach the net?”
A LA Lakers fan trolled the YouTuber saying, “We already have Taurean Prince.” Another fan said, “Height requirement is below lil ni**a,”
Cenat is said to be roughly 5-foot-4 , making it possible for him to play in the NBA if he has the skills required. The legendary Muggsy Bogues played 14 seasons in the biggest basketball league despite being 5-foot-3. Earl Boykins who was 5-foot-5 also played in the NBA for 12 years.
