Nigerian afrobeat superstar Asake is currently facing backlash on social media for smashing a fan’s iPhone 16 Pro Max in his concert in Germany.
It was reported that Asake violently snatched the fan’s phone and smashed it on the floor, while performing at a concert in Germany, causing very significant damage to the device.
The fan shared a video of the incident on his social media. The fan named Adeoti showed the moment he tried to get a picture with him before he angrily broke his phone.
Captioning the video, he wrote, “@asakemusic You broke my iPhone 16 pro Max. It’s not because they are pissed off inside the nightclub that you are going to react like that towards a fan. Anyway, I still love you.”
The video quickly went viral and caused an outrage on social media with so many people giving their opinion on the matter , slamming Asake for destroying the fans phone.
