The Nigerian Correctional Services (NCoS) has stated the reason why the popular cross-dresser Bobrisky was not kept in the general prison cell alongside other inmates.
Benson explained that he was moved from the Medium Security Correctional Facility to the Maximum Security Facility for his safety because of his unique feminine traits.
This information was passed across by Micheal Benson, the NCoS officer in charge of the Kirikiri Medium Security Correctional Facility, during the hearing by the House of Representatives on the scandal involving VeryDarkMan and Bobrisky.
During the hearing, the officer elaborated on the reasons for Bobrisky’s special treatment, stating, “Bobrisky has special features like breasts. If we put him in the general cell, you would have to bring out his body from the cell. We have convicted rapists and sodomites.”
The hearing was done following allegations that he paid ₦15 million in bribes to officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and NCoS to secure preferential treatment during his six-month prison sentence.
The popular cross dresser, however, did not appear before the House panel but has been ordered to do so on a date yet to be announced
