Popular Igbo rapper, Chibuzor Azubike Nelson popularly known as Phyno has warned fans to stop comparing him with his colleague Olamide or any other rapper.

Over the years, some fans have consistently compared Phyno, who raps mostly in Igbo, to his colleague, Olamide who raps predominantly in Yoruba.

@TheDamiForeign on X wrote: “When it comes to rap, who’s the GOAT? Phyno versus Olamide.

Phyno reacting to the post responded on X saying, “Yo!!! Tf is wrong with u guys for God sake.. stop putting me up against my brother or anybody else for that matter. Do your banter with someone else.. na ala adi agba unu.. wtf”

Phyno, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. He was born and raised in Enugu State but is a native of Anambra State.

He started his music career as a producer in 2003, and is known for rapping in Igbo language. His debut studio album No Guts No Glory, which was released in March 2014, yielded the singles “Ghost Mode”, “Man of the Year”, “Parcel” and “O Set” which pushed him to the limelight.

Phyno is in a class of his own and does not need to be compared with any other rap artist.
