Obi-dients disobey Police orders and Shut down Lagos State.

On Saturday 1st of October, thousands of youths, came out in Lagos for the ‘4 million-man’ rally for the Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

The rally was held in Ikeja, Festac, Surulere, Lagos-Island-Lekki axis, as many youths came out in large numbers to show support for Obi whom they said remains the hope of the country.

The supporters flouted the early morning shower and security to hold the rally in parts of Lagos.

It was reported on Sunday that the Obi supporters popularly called Obi-dients were barred from gathering at the Lekki Tollgate for the rally by the Federal High Court in Lagos.

Despite the enormous presence of security men at the Tollgate, it was observed that the supporters passed through the tollgate and presided straight up to Lekki.

The development initiated huge gridlock along the ever-busy Lekki-Epe expressway.
