Only Quack universities are open, relevant universitis are on Strike : ASUU President

“Forget about those universities , they are not relevant , lets talk about the relevant and important universities  not the Quacks”  ~ Osodeke

The academic staff union of universities ( ASUU), which have been on industrial action for that about six months is no doubt that the greatest challenge and setback facing every student and lecturers  in most of the government owned universities. however , different universities have started pulling out of the strike because of reason best known to  them .

However, during an online interview between prof Emmanuel  Osodeke ( ASUU President ) and  Arise News, he was asked that if  he has  fears that  more branches of ASUU will decide to  resume academic session, and that strike may die off naturally , he  then disclosed that the universities that are open are not the member of ASSU due to different reasons and as such not relevant universities .

“when you are providing data, look at the background , Kwara state university is not a member of ASUU and have never joined , you can go and check “.he said  .

“We are in court case with lasu because they sacked all our Executives five years ago so they are were not part of this struggle”

 Osodeke said,”In ekiti state university, they government have the right to say that they have open because ASUU don’t run a state university but asuu member have the right to say that they are not teaching as it has happened in kwara state university and kastina state university.

“”So forget about  those issues thy are not relevant lets talk about relevant issues ,is UNIBADAN,UNN,ABU,UNIMAID,BUK UNILAG ON STRIKE?'”  he said

During  the interview , he was asked if some universities in Nigeria are not important as he has described ,he said that  they are quacks

“They are not part of our strike , search for the members that are part of our strike ,they are QUACKS, go and check.
