South African rapper, AKA reportedly shot dead

Popular South-African rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes professionally known a AKA. has reportedly been shot dead in Durban .

Information gathered was that AKA was   shot dead in the late hours of , February 10, 2023.

However, While news of his passing is currently making the rounds on the internet, details surrounding his death are still shady  as at the time of filing this report.

Reports indicated that AKA was the target of a drive-by shooting that took place outside

the Wish Restaurant on Florida Road. Some witnesses also say that an altercation broke

out before firearms were discharged which led to the rapper’s death.

The rapper was planning to celebrate his birthday at the YUGO nightclub in Stamford Hill that evening.

 

n addition to AKA, his bodyguard was also injured in the shooting, and another close friend of the rapper was killed.

AKAwas born and raised in Cape Town and rose to prominence with the release of his

single “Victory Lap,” which was featured on his debut album Altar Ego in 2011.

He gained a following in Nigeria as well, thanks to his hit single “Fela in Versace.”

Few months ago, American television personality and Disk Jockey , Stephen Laurel Boss, professionally known as DJ ‘tWitch’, has died  at the age of 40.Twitch who was the famed DJ on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show, died on Tuesday, December 13, after reportedly after he allegedly committed suicide.

According to TMZ, some police sources in Los Angeles said that

the wife of the deceased , Allison Holker, went in desperation to a

police station on Tuesday to report that tWitch  had  mysteriously

disappeared from his home without taking his car, which he never did.

Information gathered was that  before noon, paramedics received a call for a medical emergency
