Popular Nigerian singer and DMW signee Tobechukwu Victor Okolie professionally known as Peruzzi has taken to his social media to react to Adesope Olajide’s explanation of Wizkid’s interview.
Adesope Olajide took to his twitter account explaining what wizkid meant when he said that he don’t listen to rap because the genre is dead and boring.
“So this claim that wizkid was saying rap was dead hmmmnm , I actually think he didn’t mean African rap or rappers , I believe he was using the moment to highlight the growth of african music genres . Rappers responding got it wrong.” he wrote.
The singer did not see the need for the explaining a comment made by another man and called him “Bombo” for doing such .

In related news, Popular Nigerian Actress Uche Ogbodo has taken to her instagram page to lash out on popular Nigerian singer about comment he made on Rap Genre .
The ace singer in his recent interview with 10 magazine stated that he don’t listen to rap music because because the genre is ‘dead, boring and tired’.
“I don’t listen to rap – that shit is boring to me. It’s dead now, it’s tired. These guys do the same shit, rap on the same beats and the same flows,” wizkid said.
The comment made by wizkid stirred a lot of reaction from netizens and celebrities especially those ones in rap Genre.
Reacting to the comment, veteran rapper, MI Abaga, urged his colleagues to focus on their craft and provided a long list of rappers who are successful in their respective fields.
“The energy around HIPHOP right now feels right.. I know most rappers are still not the most popular yet.. but right now is time for us to focus on the craft.. just keep getting better.. this year we did so well as a genre and next year we grow!!!!” He wrote in part.
Actress Uche Ogbodo whose reasoning did not stick to wizkid’s reasoning took to her instagram to blast the Artist . in her words, wizkid was so wrong for dropping such comment.
“Wizkid was wrong! Too wrong! How could you say such about your people! Who do us this thing sef? Which Babalaolwo mix this juju wey say Nigerians must hate fellow Nigerians! No loyalty to your people! To your country! Only selfishness everywhere! Abeg make all of them getat! This is not nice! All Nigerian rappers y’all are the biggest and the greatest. Abeg! David would never do this! Lai Lai”. She wrote.
