An unidentified Nigerian woman has filed for divorce from her husband claiming that she cannot be controlled by a man who is educationally below her.
This incident was narrated by a twitter user @Abdullahiabba who
is the cousin the woman’s husband , he stated that this said
husband drooped out of school in order to support his wife’s education and did so till she got her PHD degree.
According to the story, the woman on her completion of doctorate degree decided not to continue with the marriage because she cannot be controlled by a man who is not in her level of Education.
@Abdullahiabba_ tweeted,
“My Cousin Sameer had to drop out of school after
marriage just to support his wife education due to her
parents were not strong enough for that just for her to
attain Phd and seek for divorce from him telling him she
can’t be controlled by a man who’s not educated like him.
She can’t be controlled by a man who’s not up to her standards in terms of Education.”
