Nigerian mum calls out Chrisland school after her 12 year old daughter died while attending school’s interhouse sports

The viral video currently making round media has captured a heartbroken mother identified as Mrs Blessing Adeniran  was crying out after the tragic death of her daughter  Desola Whitney Adeniran in her School.

Desola who is a student of Chrisland international secondary school  lagos reportedly died during her school inter-house sports that was held in the school on Thursday  February 9 2023.

Details surrounding the 12 year old’s death is still sketch but the

mother in the viral video making round media  said her daughter,

Desola  was attending her school, Chrisland School Opebi’ inter-

house sports, last Thursday February9. She said she was at the event when she got wind that her daughter had fainted.

She stated that nobody called or. mentioned to her what had

happened to her. She said she was searching for her daughter

who was supposed to take part in the match past but did not when she got information from one of the students that Whitney fainted.

“During the match past, I looked, first house matched, I didn’t see my child. Second house matched, I didn’t see my child. Third house matched, I didn’t see my child. I became worried”, she said. 

Mrs Adeniran said the staff mentioned to her that Whitney had been rushed to the hospital. On getting to the hospital where her daughter was rushed to, she met her corpse there.

“I went in there and saw my daughter’s corpse. I saw my

daughter on her deathbed. She was already dead when I

saw her. She was drenched and soaked to her skin. Water

was dripping out. I screamed, I called on God. I shouted. I called on God”, she said.

She said up till now, the school. Has not opened up to her on what happened to her. The distraught mum said the school claims her 12 year old suffered a cardiac arrest and slumped.

Mrs Adediran said her baby girl was not sick and never had any pre-existing heart condition and wonders why she would suffer a cardiac arrest.
