According to Regina, after a heart to heart  talk with the teenage girl, the 14-year-old confessed to usually spending the nights with different people in their hotel rooms, some of whom take advantage of her.

Regina said she was very concerned for the little girl, as she also joined the industry as a young girl and is aware of the dangers of the industry for a child.

While  declaring  Nollywood a danger zone for young girls, Regina recalled how, as a child in the Nollywood industry, her mother and actress Rita Daniels shielded her from being sexually assaulted and molted by movie directors nd producers.

The thespian further  said that after she listened to the girl’s encounter in the industry, she personally enrolled her in a boarding school in Delta State and was surprised to see how well she did in her entrance exam.

Regina further reprimanded her colleagues, who had previously had knowledge of this but turned a blind eye to the girl, and pleaded with them to, from now on, stand against child labor.

She noted that she has also vowed to fight against any movie producer who casts young children in their films.

Sharing the video on her Instagram page, she wrote, “DISCLAIMER!! This goes to the celebrities and movie producers. Please say NO to child Labour? And keep the industry secure.”
