Popular Nigerian Actress Angela Okorie has urged her female colleagues to stop lying and pretending that Acting is the only brain Behind their success .
The actress cum singer stated this during an interview with Factory 78 while deliberating on the lingering debate about female Actress being more successful than their male counterparts.
The thespian further said hat a lot of the actress have a lot of side hustle that is fueling their expensive lifestyle.
Angela further noted that there are a lot of actors that really work very hard in the industry while urging her female colleague to stop flaunting their money and mansion claiming they used money form acting to acquired within shore period of joining the industry.
She asked them to stop lying while maintaining that no money from the movie industry can give anyone money to buy mansions in expensive locations in that short period.
In her words,
“Talking about females making it more than the males, it’s not as if the males aren’t making it but people should stop lying. All these females they should stop lying. These people should stop lying.
You will see somebody that just entered Nollywood, you are not even up to a year and you will lie for people that you bought a house. Which money did you use in buying the house?
You make those who have been working for over 20 years look like they aren’t working.
You can’t tell me it’s film money that’s giving you the money you use in buying a house.
If there is something you are doing to warn money, you should say it”
