Two Nigerian gets 40 years sentence for robbing mobile money vendor in Ghana.

Two Nigerian men have been jailed for 40 years by kasoa Ofaakor circuit  for robbing a mobile money vendor in a broad day light.

The culprit identified as Bright Okwara and Ferdinand Obi were said to have committed the act on Tuesday May 17, kasoa new market junction in central region of Ghana .

The thieves were said to have carted away with a sum of GH¢11,800, from the victim unmediated the victim came out from the bank where he withdrew the money in kasoa.

Before the sentence ,Detective Sargent Addai Boamah disclosed to the court that the two Nigerian was reportedly using motorcycle to monitor  the activities of the their victim after he withdrew the money .

Addai also said that the culprits followed the victims from Kasoa to market to Kasoa junction where they snatched the money from the victim and fled with their motorcycle.

However, the victims did not accept defeat as he chased them with his own motorcycle and crashed them leading to their arrest.

The were remanded for 5 months before they we’re finally sentenced 40 years imprisonment with hard Labour  by his Lordship Ebenezer Osei today October 3.
