Mavin Records Boss Donjazzy has disclosed that he has always advice his signees to emulate controversial Nigerian singer Portable.
The Music executive disclosed this during an interview , stating his reason he always Use portable as an example to his signee on how to remain in the lime light.
While recalling hoe Zazu croner came into lime light, Donjazzy compared him to Buju now BNXN who both came into limelight 2021 but portable’s status has kept increasing since then.
He reflected on the fact that BNXN already had seven song before Portable gained popularity with his single “zazu” with the help of Olamide, but the controversial singer’s followers increased to a million faster.
Donjazzy also admitted that Portable’s Controversial personality have been able to maintain his relevance in the music industry but remaining in every news making him Known even when he did not release any Music.
The Music Guru said whenever he’s having meeting with his signees, he makes them understand that it’s not enough to just release good songs and let their sails down.
He said that he makes them realize the algorithm will favor them if they put themselves out there and do things that will make their names come up in conversations like Portable does.
