The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, in an Audio recordings disclosed that she is 43% Nigerian.
Megahan disclosed this vital information in her latest episode of her podcast, Archetypes, where she revealed genetic heritage and expressed a desire to know more about her roots.
During a chat with Nigerian-American comedian and writer, Senegalese-American actress and comedian Issa Rae, and professor Emily Bernards, Meghnan said she took a genealogy test which revealed that she is 43% Nigerian.
“I just had my genealogy done a couple years ago. I’m 43% Nigerian, “she said.
While reatiing to the the duchess’s comment, Ziwe Fumudoh said “No way!”
Ziwe further asked, “Are you serious? This is huge. Igbo, Yoruba, do we know? “
Meghan in response said ,I’m going to start to dig deeper into all of this because anyone that I’ve told, especially Nigerian women, is just like, what?”.
