Nigerian Man identified as Israel Emmanuel have been arrested by the men of Adamawa state police command after he planned his own kidnapping with his friends and made his father to pay a ransom of 1 million naira.
The police command reported that Emmanuel was arrested after he visited the station to report his accomplices for cheating him.
According to reports from Emmanuel, his friends lied to him that his father paid a ransom of 500,00 whereas his father paid 1million naira .
According tot he reports from daily post, Emmanuel took his share of N500,000, from the loot and returned home, and disclosed to his family that he was released without harm.
Emmanuel had a change of thoughts when he learned that the actual money his father paid for his release was 1million not 500,00.
This angered him to report his accomplices to police station for cheating on him ,however, the police force swung into action arresting his accomplices including Emmanuel.
TWO people among the three accomplices, Fartaci Kucol and Zakka Nuh, both native of Mubi North LGA in northern Adamawa, who were also picked up, confessed to the crime confessed by Emmanuel.
Fartaci Kucol and Zakka Nuh disclosed that Emmanuel was kept in a village in Muvur within the Mubi North Local Government Area for six days and later Mubi metropolis where he spent another two days before the ransom was paid.
However, The third accomplice, Abdullhamid Mohammed, is still on the run.
